This is the cheapest price I could find for this game. Not sure if it will still be available for boxing day to get the 12% cash back. Currently only 3.5% is offered.
It was around $14ish this morning on Amazon.

Price History at C CamelCamelCamel.
This is part of Boxing Day Sales for 2019

this game is a blast to play in psvr.

    • Getting around Nurburgring is a challenge though. 🤮

Absolutely is! I got a PSVR mainly for GT Sport, hotlapping around the green hell in an old Porsche is something else. It's a gateway drug tho, I ended up using my PSVR on iRacing after I realized I could do that too and now I can't stop. :^D

Amazing, cancelled order from this morning and re-ordered! A cup of coffee saved!

  • Brilliant game, especially paired with a steering wheel. The recent update brought along Laguna Seca and nightmares navigating that corkscrew.

  • Is this base game still worth it without any updates? As the frequent updates means enormous patch download sizes and I won’t be able to do that. I also have a psvr and am contemplating getting this just for it.

I bought it digitally a few days ago ($25 for the 'Spec 2' version with 2.5 million in game points and 10 cars) and it was ~95gb all up.

If you play entirely offline you'll miss out on new tracks and cars as they get released. There should still be plenty of content for you to enjoy though.

  • I’ve only ever played the first one on the Playstation which I loved. Does anyone know if concept the same where you build up your money and buy cars from various dealerships?

    • Yes but you don't modify the cars like in the old days, you just get an upgrade package. Manual suspension adjustments are still possible. GT sport is mostly about the online racing these days, you can't have modified cars in the online sport events. It means awesome close racing. I'd buy this for $100 if I didn't already have it.

      • Thanks for that. I was wondering if it focused on online as I don’t have a psn account. But for $10, pretty cheap for a ps4 game.

        • i was the same, but went and got a psn account specifically for this game and it was totally worth it

    • Unfortunately you will be disappointed with GT Sport if you want something like GT1 or 2. It is nothing like GT1 or GT2 if that is what you are after with upgrading cars modifying them etc. Mainly focused on online mode like peppermint mentioned.

This game bares vary little resemblance in terms of gameplay to PSX titles
