Seems to be the cheapest price in a little while for these devices. I've had the previous HD version, and was good.

Apple TV 4K 32GB - $224 (was $249)
Apple TV 4K 64GB - $251 (was $276)

Thanks to price hipster for the notification of price drop.

My wife's gone to get one at officeworks, hopefully pricematched & 5% off :)

Unsure of expiry - assuming it's 30th December, based on banner on their front page, but don't know how to check to be sure that is against this device too.

    Have people found the 32gb enough storage? And can it play movies in MKV, MP4 etc? Cheers.

      The storage is mainly for apps. It can’t play files directly from a USB if that’s what you’re thinking, you have to stream it from your PC using something like Plex or VLC

      I bought the 64GB when I had the previous one, and wished I'd just gone with the 32GB one. As sawdustfarmer says, the extra space is just for apps, and you can always unload and reload them as you want. Maybe more useful if you like lots and lots and lots of apps, and don't have a fast Internet connection?

        Yes and I also found that you end up removing most of the App’s since you never use them (they work better on the phone / iPad).

        The biggest storage consumers from the AppStore would probably be games. I think that’s what the 64GB model is for.

        What I can't work out is what a new apple TV device might even do. It's not like the current one is underpowered… is it? Maybe for games?
