HI Folks,
My car has crossed 45000km and i will be changing tyres soon, probably at 50kkm. What tyres do you suggest, I want something that reduces road noise in cabin.
Honda Civic Sedan Vti 10th Gen 2018 (Non Turbo)
Thanks

currently have Dunlop 215/55R16 93H
Wheel rotation usually at 10k or 20k when i go for servicing at honda
Michelin Primacy.
I had PrimacyHP 225/55r16 on the Skoda and they were great. I got 75,000km from them and everything else is usually mid-40k.
I think the Primacy4 is the current model and the tread looks similar. They are ~$200 each
I'd also get an alignment and get it set as conservative as possible.
If $200 is too much then ContiMaxContact MC5 are ~$140 and wold be OK
Talk to your Tyre people and ask about Yokohama Advan db or Bridgestone Turanza.
Michelin Primacy 4.
It is a hard tyre, so can be noisy. Fuel economy is good and has good wear, but grip suffers until you warm them up.
Michelin Primacy 3ST.
I have them. I find them pretty quiet compared to the Turanzas
I have just replaced old Turanzas with Serenity Plus - it is super quiet and plush. Good price as well with 4 for 3 deal from Bridgestone.
which car and model have u got?
These tyres were for Aurion ZR6 - 215/55 R17
Shit size expect 150 to 220 per tyre for good brands.
Fill the tyres with Nitrogen.
I use a 80% nitrogen, 20% oxygen mix. Works super good.
You should try adding a little argon and co2.
Sounds good. My local fuel station has this stuff already pre-mixed for me.
Go TYRE shop and ask around then buy their second most cheapest tyre
What size and what brand/model of tyre do you currently have? It will be written on the sidewall of the tyre.
Also, when was the last time you had the tyres rotated and a wheel alignment done?
