  • what blocks of 24 are sugar free? what brands? don't ever see any in supermarkets - or amazon. serious question - I mean Australians are getting fatter imitating yanks so what's the choice in big blocks?

    • -1

I've only seen the small 10x375ml packs for Sprite Zero. There isn't enough shelf space and demand for the bigger packs of Sprite Zero

      • -6

so there are 24 packs or u making an assumption? no-one can buy what isn't there.

  • There faxing out no sugar and diet drinks because of the bad chemicals in them to substitute sugar

    • +2

That's going to take a while given how slow fax machines are……

    • +1

That's a big claim your making there. Show me any studies that show these chemicals are 'bad'.

      • For a diabetic, the sugar drinks will kill them much faster than the Diet versions……it's all relative as to how "bad" it is.

        • for a diabetic

1.7 million Australians out of ~25 million or about 6.8%.

          • @pennypincher98: so there's a guaranteed market of 1.7 million plus but no blocks of sugar free 24. And why all the negs for asking a reasonable question, and making a reasonable point - you cant demonstrate a demand if there's none to buy?
maybe that's why the rate of diabetes is increasing…
'The rate of diabetes amongst adults aged 65-74 year olds increased from 12.5% in 2001 to 15.4% in 2017-18. Meanwhile, of adults aged 75 years and over, almost one in five (18.7%) had diabetes in 2017-18; which was an increase from 11.2% in 2001.Mar 26, 2019'

      And then they'll reintroduce them.

Regardless of whether you drink Coke or Coke Zero it's still not healthy..
Sugar is bad. So are substitutes.

If you want a drink with health benefits, there's plenty out there.
Water is free from the tap.

      • -1

I doubt anyone is drinking softdrink for health benefits LOL

      • +1

Water is free low cost from the tap.

        FTFY

        • -2

Thanks for that, do not know what utopia pennypincher is living in

          • @JacobHarvey: Use a council tap at the park and it's free :)

Or peak Ozbargainer, use the shower/tap at the beach.

    • They're actually getting rid of sugar products. This is the new sprite that has artificial sweetener which is replacing sprites full sugar option.

      • It’s the artificial stuff that’s causing the damage

  • These anti-sugar anti-sweetener posts are getting soooooooooooooooooooo irritating.

    Everything in moderation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not everything you read on Facebook or hear on Today Tonight is true! Or at least it's not that straight-forward.
