Holy crap imagine being the poor buggers on minimum wage rostered for this shift by the franchisee desperately trying to stay afloat.

I remember working Subway and we did 2 footlongs for $10 during the week. Had a line out the door, people saying they drove 40 mins so they could get their lunches for the week. The franchise closed a few months after I started and the guy disappeared and didn't pay the final couple weeks of wages.

Everyone gets screwed, except the franchisor.

      Been going on for ages

      • It's like privatisation except franchises get better by going out of business. With privatisation everyone just gets (profanity) permanently. If you voted Laberal you voted to (profanity) yourself.

  • Ordered 5 thanks. Work lunch sorted for week.

    • are you going to freeze them?

      • Nah pizza usually good for a week in fridge. I actually oddly prefer cold pizza straight from fridge

    • How did you order 5 ????

  • They going bust or what

    • "Customer appreciation day" whatever that means.

  • +2

Is it just me, or is there never a customer appreciation day near where I am?

    • Not sure where you are :p There are multiple held every week, just they usually aren't this cheap. Check the OzBargain pizza page on Friday night to see if there are any near you is probably the best way.

      • Haha fair enough, I just looked and those closest to me just have 40% off traditional pizzas. Pfff that's nothing special.

  • Our local store's CAD was just $3.95 Value pizzas :(

Such a shame because last year was $3.95 Traditional Pizzas as well…

How can you find out which stores are offering discounts?

    ordered 16 thanks OP

    • Guess there will be a long ass wait lol. It's a good price to test out flavours you would not normally get.

  • +1

    These can be frozen yes?

If I had a spare freezer and lived in Vic I'd order like 30.

    • No issues I've done this before and used my airfryer to heat them up

  • Song overdue in one of Hamza's posts.
Applicable only to people in vicinity of Keilor East, on this occasion… :)

  • This could finally be a good time to buy one pepperoni and one pepperoni with extra pepperoni and do a pepperoni comparison.

  • +1

They just made an announcement that they ran out of dough lol @Keilor East.

They also turned off the monitor that shows orders
