Oops
1 week
So something went wrong and you got compensated even though free trial. Now what?
Yeah that was my first package, second one didn't get anything just wanted to know if anyone having the same issues
Don't suppose you are in a bushfire state? They could have had issues there…. I have had a few packages delivered with Amazon recently….
Nope
Take the $20 credit and move on….
Congrats you're having an Amazon baby!
Have a couple of items from US Amazon. Both have been delayed and rescheduled. Put it down to busy time of year.
Did not contact them, did not collect $20.
Australia Post has also been slow, two items posted from the same place, one took a week longer.
I've been a Prime member for a while and bought many things - a few of my recent purchases were delayed and I'm guessing it's due to time of year.
I am finding a lot of items are late at the moment (by about a day).
In the US I would get either a $5 gift card or an extra month of prime free when I complained. This happened numerous times, and I got compensated each time as long as it was shipped and sold by Amazon (not a 3rd party)
It was in their policy, not sure if it's changed now. Can't hurt to try here.
A quick Google search will tell you what to email/say to them on chat.
ETA: seems like I didn't read the OP completely, nice score!
There's an app for that! Look up Paribus - automatically does it for you. US only.
I had an item purchased on Amazon Au (shipped from and sold by Amazon US). After 2 wks overdue I hadn't received any update so went to my Post Office to check. They said it wasn't there. 3 wks after it was meant to arrive I contacted Amazon. They said they'd have to check up on it. When I heard back from them they had confirmed my parcel couldn't be located and provided a refund. Because it was from the US she said she couldn't provide a replacement, I would have to re-order it myself. The cost of the product which was $10 has now increased to $16 (I didn't purchase it on sale). In addition there is now a 3 month wait before dispatch. I thought standard protocol for such situations was a credit voucher but nothing was offered. Not sure if anyone has had similar experience?
Sometimes it depends on the size of the item. It is the busiest time of the year, my brother is working 6 long days and the weather is stinking hot. If their van is too full and your parcel is huge it will likely be put aside until there's space. Not worth 1 "parcel" which they get exactly the same pay for regardless of size to take the space of 5-10 parcels.
I've ordered 30 items in the past month, the majority came within the 2 days. I seek compensation if it doesn't come in 2 days. Just ask them politely. Things you get are $5-10 credit (or more depending on item cost), a free month of prime, etc. For damaged items: (replacement or refund) + credits. Remember, it is 2 days AFTER they ship, not 2 days from the moment you buy it. I had around 10 deliveries in the past week, all in time.
International Expedited = 7-10 business days. They just shipped from the US today. ETA = January 7. By their own calculations they can't do it.
Earlier this week, delivered one day late & damaged. They expected me to send it back myself. Given how poorly packaged it was I said no. Eventually got money back. But it took time to get them to do it.
And they continue to use Fastway, slower than post. Terrible decision.
From a delivery perspective, Prime is a dud.
Half of my deliveries from the US get heavily damaged. Fastway over there is a joke
How late?
