Amazon AU has a great deal on the Fisher-Price Colourful Carnival SpaceSaver Jumperoo which is more suitable for older babies than the $10 bouncer posted earlier today. For more info, refer to official website. There's also a few reviews on ProductReview.

I was about to purchase one for my own baby daughter after a recommendation from a friend, but then happened to notice Amazon AU has it for $44.25 delivered which is significantly less than Target (especially if you stack with discounted gift cards)! What a bargain.

  • Hey Jace, If you don't mind me asking how old is your baby girl?

What's this Jumperoo suited to in terms of age?

OzBargain in me pulled the trigger, ask questions later lol

      Gotta love free returns.

Mine is 7 months. My friend who recommended it is at about 6. You know you need one of these when your baby starts to do the bouncing legs movement (like kicking repeatedly and wanting to stand up) but isn't yet able to support themselves.

I'm related to someone in the medical field. My daughter loved using the jumper, just limit the time because apparently it can hurt their hips in prolonged use. Something about not being developed yet to actually support their weight (when they can't stand yet).

    • Out of interest what time limit did you use for yours, or what cues did you look for?

I haven’t got it yet as I only ordered today but would be keen to hear your thoughts.

^ what TheMommy said. Ideally 15-20 mins at a time, 2-3 times a day for any bouncer/walker type toys. Not a medico myself but what we were told for our little one. Consistent with most baby forums I’ve read as well. Can cause hip issues and delay walking. That said plenty of baby forum posts where parents have left kids for an hour at a time, multiple times a day where they say no issues for their child. YMMV. Everything in moderation I guess, just get in plenty of tummy time as well and you should be fine!

  • I blame Fisher Price and items like this for overstimulating baby’s brain to the point where ADHD is a real probability. I could be wrong, of course. But it bothers me, nonetheless.
