  • Good prices…thanks Op

  • Pity the black Friday extra $150 off deal is no longer available!

  • +4

too bad everyday individuals cant get those prices

    • +7

But bwestpac wbankers can so that's all that matters here

  • anyone know if you can put a different name on the tax invoice?

    • ^ Interested in this too. (I'm guessing not)

    • +1

      Do-able.

      • Can back this.

    • Yep. Done this before for a friend's TRS purchase

      • How do you do it?

        • Add a new address in the "billing details" panel. Fill out the first and last name accordingly.

        • Alternatively, PDF editor can do it as well :)

Customs do not have the time to call up every retailer to match up names to invoices.
They will however match up ABNs, Invoice Numbers and GST components, so ensure you don't change those..

  • +1

Coles employees can access these through Mycoles

Can add that to the list of available portals

  • S10+ 128gb for $975.35 is pretty good deal

    • Unfortunately s10 plus 128gb no longer available…

      • Already? I don't have access to EPP atm, but it was available when I last looked. It was only available in prism green and black, so you needed to select those colours to see the 128gb option.

      • Yeah i think the s10+ 128gb specifically is the most popular s10 of all

      • Yeah, you need to choose the other colours (single sim). It's still available.

  • +1

Thanks OP.. just got a Note 10+ for $1104.35!!

  • Does anyone know if you can buy this online and pick it up instore (I live in Perth)? I am travelling soon so won't be able to get it before I leave unless I can pick it up

    • I don't think so. Samsung online store is completely different to their retail stores and don't like to talk to each other.

It should be delivered in 1-2 days.

    • Takes 2 biz day normally to arrive.

  • New Samsung 11 will be arrive in Feb next year. Waiting for deal

    • +10

Yeah and Samsung 12 in Feb 2021 too.

      • +16

You'd be a sucker if you didn't wait for the Samsung 13.

        • +5

nah, 13 is an unlucky number

  • Hey guys - Can we claim TRS on the purchase of the Note 10+ and then bring the phone back?

    • There is a $900 limit per adult traveller for trs. So if you are on your own. No. You are not allowed to bring it back.

If however you decide to do it anyway and you get fined. Then its all you who is to blame.

      • Thank you

        • +3

use it while overseas, they should use depreciated value of your used item upon your return

      • So you can bring it back if you have 2 travellers? Or just not allowed to bring it back at all? Thanks

        • +1

2 travellers have a combined limit of $900 x 2, you can pool your allowance, so yes you are allowed to bring it back.

      • you can take as much as you like out of australia and claim TRS. The $900 limit is what you can bring back. so technically you can bring out a 4000 dollar laptop and claim a 400 dollar GST tax back provided you leave the laptop overseas but if you bring it back into australia, you'll have to declare it to customs. technically of course……

        • Its question 3 of the incomming passenger card.

Goods obtained by duty free amounting to over $900 has to be declared.

Thats a legal document. So dont go sooking if you get done and fined if you did not declare it. Or you could unleash the wrath of khan on border force guards. We do need new border security tv show content.

          • @xoom: as i said, technically it's a prerequisite to declare you've brought good back which you've claimed trs on back into australia above the 900 dollar limit. i don't believe i said anything contrary to what you've said.

            • +1

@Spec: More letting it be known to others that their actions may not go unpunished if they think they know someone who slipped through and did not declare that they could get away with it also.

    • +2

When you claim TRS, the officer would tell you to declare it when you are taking it back on the way into Australia. If you declare it you probably just have to pay it back. They have taken depreciation into account before so it drops below the limit.

  • My wife is a teacher will an edumail account. Can she get a note 10 + for me? I know she can but are there any issues other than warranty claims in her name etc thanks

    • I think you can put it under your name. It will just be purchased through her email.

When you put in the personal details at checkout just put in your name.

      • +2

        Legendary. Thanks for the response.

  • +1

Note 10 + is coming up as 1189.30 damn

    • EPP prices are different to Education store prices ….I have access to both and can confirm

  • Can confirm educational portal is 30% off as well

  • I wanted to get one with my daughter's high school email address which ends in @education.nsw.gov.au but was told by Samsung web chat that only students who are 18+ can do this. Another web chat person told me I'd have to use the government portal as her address ends in .gov.au

Does anyone know what actually is the deal? I'd really like to take advantage of this if it's still available at the end of the week when I'm paid.

    • Just following up: have to be 18, or over, to create an account, so no joy :(

  • Did Samsung lift their T&C's on posting these deals externally or are we just ignoring them now?

  • +2

Come on mobileciti , what u guys waiting for?

  • Excellent deal!

Had been trying to decide which phone to get for the past 2 weeks, ordered the Note 10+. Looks like a damn nice phone.

  • My FIL works for the ATO, would his Vic.gov login qualify for EPP?

    • +2

Try click on the "Australian Government" and validate with the Vic.gov email to check.

      • It allowed me to forward a verification email to his address so I can only assume it worked. Waiting for him to clock on for the day to see if I can get the access link. 👍

    • +1

ATO is federal, not state. (So yes, he should be eligible )

  • What is an XSA variant?

  • not worth this price. i paid 35% off for s10 months ago during the first 35% sale, even then it wasn't worth the price. lol @ paying anything over $500 for a phone, high end phones are always just marketing with insane margins they cost barely more to make then mid tier. rather buy 400-500 phones then upgrade every year.

    • +1

I used to think like that, but if I'm honest the Note 10+ is so far beyond what I thought I could get out of a phone in terms of enjoyment and utilisation. Made a strangely significant difference to my every day.

  • Cant seem to register my Australia Post email ([email protected]) on Samsung portal. Anyone can help?

  • Thanks got an S10 for 876 :)

  • Thanks Op,,,got a s10 for $876 from EPP and then a clear view cover from jb for $55 :)

  • Been tossing up between mate 30 pro and note 10 plus. M30P has the better camera plus battery however no Google services mean no Secure internet banking was big no for me. Ended up ordering 10plus. Thanks op!

    • I got it in last 1104.35 deal with galaxy buds. Buds is OK not amazing, but phone is awesome. Played mate 30 too, I don't think cam is better..

  • I just checked educational portal. The discount is 30% not 35%.

    • this is for EPP, not Educational Store.

  • Australian stock?

    • +1

Yes, they are coming straight from Samsung Australia.

  • The S10 128gb has just sold out from EPP. Missed it by seconds! DARN IT!
