Just received a message in my ebay app.
EDIT: First post, please don't be too harsh.
'Qualifying Periods' means:

  • 10am 9th Dec - 11:59 15th Dec
  • 00:01 16th Dec - 11:59 22nd Dec
  • 00:01 23rd Dec - 11:59 29th Dec
  • 00:01 30th Dec - 11:59 5th Jan (“Qualifying Periods”)

Voucher. The voucher will be issued at 10am 8th January 2020 and will be valid until 23:59 21st January 2020.The voucher cannot be used in the following Excluded Stores and Categories:

    i've spent thousands on ebay over more than a decade and the best they can do is give me a voucher with a whole bunch of categories and sellers i can't use it on.

      You could have either gotten an email about it, or it would show as one of the banners on the front page of your ebay account, or you would have gotten a message in the ebay app. The message would say something like "[name], You could score a $50 voucher"

          Conditions just say you need to spend 10 dollars a week in the qualifying periods in one transaction. Pretty sure coupons will be fine assuming the total remains above 10 dollars in the transaction.

          "Conditions. The offer entitles Eligible Customers to a $50 voucher if they spend $10 or more each week between 9th December – 5th January. Customers must spend at least $10 in one transaction in each of the Qualifying Periods"

              @Jasonissm: Oh, it should be a gift card. So cashback won't work but you should still be able to use other coupon codes. At least that's my understanding.

      Are you sure? Otherwise I missed it too!

      It sounds like it's tonight unless there is a missing 12 hour period of time not covered between 12:00 midday on 15th December and 12:01am on 16th December.

    wonder if gift card purchases are a qualifying transaction.
    I've spent $10+ in the first week and then $10+ second week via paypal giftcards, and now realise that i've had this offer on the account, but not sure if i should keep doing those 10+ purchases this week and the next…

    Anyone get the voucher? I spent more than $10 each week in the 4 weeks. But they said because I paid two different seller in ONE transaction I do not qualify. So disappointing. Anyone in same boat? They said I had to pay for ONE ITEM to qualify.

      Sorry to hear that. I received the voucher. I didn't get any email but I received the code in my account. In some of my transactions, I purchased more than 1 item but it was from the same seller.

          It doesn't say that in the t&c's so I don't understand why that would be the case. I bought from a seller that would unlikely cancel orders, I did click and collect and haven't even picked up my orders yet, and I could still get a refund from later just in case.

    This voucher kinda sucks, can't find anything to use it on and it doesn't stack with other coupons so it's basically only on price jacked items. Also can't turn it into a gift card.

      You're right. Luckily I managed to get Risk Rustic edition for a bargain price (~1/3 of current Amazon price), and some puzzles.
