  • When you sign up to the Target newsletter and get a unique code for $10 (or for some $15) off, can you use this and still be eligible for cashback?

    • Same question :)

Confirmed with gotyourback that it can be stacked. The following is also on the Target SB page -

Sign Up to Target's Newsletter for $10 off When You Spend $50
Your unique code will be provided in your Welcome email which must be entered at checkout for the offer to apply. Excludes gift cards and interactive gaming.

    • I just signed up to Target… Where do I find this unique code?

I bought from Book Depository last week and had a half dozen titles I looked at. These were all there again once logging on and they have ALL gone up by AT LEAST $10…unbelievable!

I love the shopback discounts… With all my savings I can afford more cocaine and hookers.

    • +1

Imagine if there was cashback offers on hookers.

These cashback offers probably do allow one to splurge a little more on hookers who look like they washed in a wave of their own vomit.

      • …. So who are your fav. Hookers?

        • +1

Those that don't expect a lift back to the alleyway or Maccas you picked them up from ¯_(ツ)_/¯ or good talkers you can +1 to book reading sessions.

Sharing my recent experience of Book Depository with 2 orders (multiple items in each)

Compared to Amazon the delivery is super slooooooow, and I have still not received all my order from over a month ago. I would be wary of ordering if you want your books for Christmas. Note all items I ordered were from their bestsellers/new releases and marked as in stock.

Also make sure you check the prices at other retailers, as even with cashback they were not much cheaper (if at all). Obviously any OzBargainer doesn't need to be told that, but I found it easy to get carried away thinking "I'm getting cashback" and the cap slipped my mind.

The reason I got my ultrawide monitor was to have booko open on one window, book depository in another and wordery in a third. Yes, that's why…

    • Totally agree with you on price. BD is not the cheapest. I had similar experience where same book was $13 at Amazon and $23 at BD.

    • I've been getting the best seller type of books from big w with the discounted gift cards. Book depository has been very slow lately.

      • Do you find the ones you are after are cheaper at Big W Kingdove? I never thought to compare prices with them. Generally, Book Depository has the lowest prices but not always.

        • They usually end up the cheapest especially for the newish kids books.
They bring in the best sellers cheap too. For example
          https://www.bigw.com.au/product/force-of-nature/p/690039/ $9 vs 11.27 at book depository
Definitely worth a look for the popular books

          • @Kingdove: Thanks for that Kingdove! that link does show a good price. I ususally just compare Bookdepository with Amazon.au since sometimes I have found Amazon cheaper but I will include Big W now when I compare .

  • Thank you! Used it :)

  • Noooo! I missed another Book Depository deal. This is the third time for the last two months T_T

I feel for you trams. I have missed out on all the great amazon deals!
