  • This is a good deal, but not going to fix Skyrim/Rage being $90 USD compared to the US's $60 USD. :(

Pre-order The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim US$89.99 + RAGE US$89.99 and get the above pack for US$39.99.

Make sure you order in three separate orders -ie
Order Skyrim, then order RAGE, then finally order the Quakecon Pack.

Then wait a few days, and email Steam support saying you wish to cancel the pre-orders.

      How does this work exactly?

      • +2

        I've put all the steps.

Which part are you having trouble understanding?

        • Without having actually tried looking myself, does it mention anywhere that you get $30 off when prepurchasing Skyrim + Rage or something?

        • does it mention anywhere that you get $30 off when prepurchasing Skyrim + Rage or something

          Yes.

        • Thanks :) just wasn't sure

        • +1

Given that this is Steam and they have complete control over your purchases, this seems very risky.

If you cancel your pre-orders, wouldn't they:
          1. Refund/cancel your Quakecon pack?
          2. Say you are unable to cancel your pre-orders as you have already used those to redeem a Quakecon special offer?
          3. ???
          4. Profit?

    • Good work. I hope I don't have any difficulties cancelling. Looks like a convoluted process

      • Of course they would make it be complicated to cancel, otherwise it is a major exploit or loophole that people are gonna go thru to save money.

I'm disappointed I already have the majority of the titles.

It's not really worth it for just Fallout NV + DLCs… but yeah, if I hadn't bought an ID pack a couple of years back and already owned Fallout 3 + DLCS…

Skyrim and Rage at $89.99USD on the Australian store is a Bloody rip off …$30USD MORE than the US store..

Get friend in USD to gift the games or import them …Namco Bandai Australia need a good kick in the nuts over this price fixing! GRRR

yes I'm bloody fuming over all the price hicking on Steam over the last 6-12 months!

    • AU is getting double shafted with Brink

      AU Steam it's $89.99 with 25% off atm = $67.49 USD

      US Steam it's $49.99 with 50% off atm = $24.99 USD

So not only is the price different, but so is the discount.

I only posted that to show how bad these pricing hikes can get on Steam. I realise you can get it cheaper elsewhere. Not even interested in the game.

          As did I.

      • This always happens with Australia, this is why it's good to get some trusty US friends so they can gift you the game and you give them the money. It also works for games that aren't available to you in our region but are to the US. :D

    looks like a bargain…

    BECAUSE IT IS

  • Yep seems like a reasonable deal to me as well, thanks for the post OP!

  • REALLY tempting pack but I just have way too many games that I haven't started.

    • +3

Tell me about it… There was a theory put forward recently that much of the accumulating entropy in the universe is being caused by unplayed Steam games. :)

  • Possibly the greatest package of games ever!
I must admit I am a big iD fan but I already own or have played most of these brilliant titles.

    • I have already got a lot of these too, but on Xbox. Wanna see how Vegas looks on my PC and maybe try some mods.

I love how there are all these terrifying and serious games, and then there is Commander Keen. That was my childhood.

  • First mega-pack i've got off steam, very happy with it great deal.

  • Thanks bought.

  • I bought two copies of this and gifted to friends, but was never paid (and of course games were never claimed) - so if you can pay the $69.99 then I'll gift you the games. Note that this pack is NOT available any more, there is only the seperate Id ($69.99) and Bethesda (also $69.99) mega packs available now. So this really is a last chance to score the mega pack of 34 games and all DLCs.
