If you haven't got the 3D TV from WOW (http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/50263), then I guess this is a better deal. 3D + Smart TV is selling in Myer for $899. Model no. 50PZ570. Ad is from today's Herald Sun.

  • Not a fan of plasma but its a good price for a larg 3D tv

  • I'm starting to wonder if this is a runout model? I'm not familiar with LG models but I currently have a 32 inch Samsung LCD TV Series 5. What is the comparable Samsung Series model for this LG plasma TV?

    • yep, same model #

    • same model looks like $899 is the standard RRP?
i wonder if this is the new style thin plasma?

      • 52.5mm thin, compared to Samsung Plasma Series 5 (51 inch) of 57mm thin.

    • I wenr to JB today, they say it's for display model only. Misleading pricing.

      • I will never deal with dishonest jb.

      • yes none of them idiots would listen when i told them the JB website was wrong…

Nices, its good value for money, but dont know the picture quality like sammy and pana. never been a fan of lg. don't need a tv now, otherwise no doubt i will buy it for the price..

    • I just popped in to myer to have a look and wasnt very impressed with the image quality, so yeah value for money yes, but i rather spend a few hundred more for a better quality screen. Well people that are looking at Kogan tv should consider this one

  • So cheap now, this one was around 1100 3 months ago. I guess other brand would follow…

    so what's a smartTV?

    • +3

      Its one that's intelligent

  • Wow…cheap.

But if you are looking for smart TV, this one is only via "wired" connection. Can not use USB for internet connection

    • Is there a way to get around this? Perhaps a wireless toggle that is plugged into LAN behind the TV?

      • +1

a wifi to wired bridge will do the trick.

You could also use Ethernet over power adapters.
