How long does your bank (and which bank is it) take to release the funds they have held after an authorisation for a transaction that was cancelled?

With CBA here, after the vendor confirmed the cancellation, about 2-3 (business) days?

Unless the merchant releases it from their end

i'm pretty sure its dependent on the merchant not bank
