The info I've seen is that the 20% applies to full priced and already reduced fashion, shoes, accessories, toys and homeware.
10% for full priced and already reduced electrical, food and AV.
According to a few test purchases I tried, this seems accurate.

I was on live chat and asked more information about price match policy at DJ.
Live chat said that upon placing and confirming order, send an email to customer service with a screenshot of competitor's price and DJ will reimburse the difference.
I immediately closed the chat.
Well if using the code first online, the price already goes down to $231, there is nothing to price match already. What I mean is going in-store to price match first, then use the discount code for further 20% off, then pay using discounted gift cards.

@lilkid28: Maybe depending on who serves you, you may or may not get a different outcome.
You may want to ask staff about price matching first, then when confirmed at the counter, proceed with presenting the 20% off voucher, and request the staff to try to see what the checkout system at the counter says.
Then proceed with payment by using your gift cards.
With situations like this, it is best to sound a bit like you are not too sure what you are doing and go with the flow step by step.
I once went to DJ in store and got a Coach bag for $110 instead of $495, just by pretending that I didn't know what I was doing. For reference DJ put it the wrong picture of the Coach bag online listed under wallet which was valued at $110. I did C&C and when they presented me with the wallet at $110, I just said oh, there must be a mistake, I ordered this, pointing at the picture and after 20 minutes, they gave it to me.

I agree that DJs website is a joke. The appliance I wanted to buy comes with a free gift (which it says it automatically applies at check out, but it doesn't). But because of that, it won't take the 10% off. There's no way to purchase the appliance at 10% without the free gift, and no way to pay full price with the free gift.
I tried talking to someone via chat and they just told me to email them. What's the point of chat support if they just direct you to email them instead? Highly doubt I will get a response so in store I go. Very frustrated.
