Agreed. PIcked up the 3-year plan 2 months ago from CR, watching US Netflix and iPlayer through it.

      • how do you get Netflix working on TV, only for android tvs?

          • @PVS7: Thank you!! My vodafone tv used to work fine and it stopped working for US but didn't bother to check since is working on my smart phone. Now I know why. Will try this.

            • @winderic: Just tried and still can't get it working on VTV. What am I missing? Already set smart dns on VTV. Tried connect vpn to different country still show message I M using vpn. Thanks.

  • I am a bit confused. Can someone please confirm that it's $66 for 27 months and then an additional cashback of 90%, brining the final amount to $6.60.
    Thanks

      • Thanks

          • @Nathw: it shows me a VAT 10% Australia, bring up the total to AUD 72.60, am i missing something?

            • @excite: ok, just realize that I can select a country in the checkout with 0% VAT, but cannot do it with Paypal

              • @excite: They charged me for $70.43, bought it 2 days ago

  • Just purchased and can confirm Netflix and Hulu work fine(for US streaming), so far :)

  • I had a quick chat session and they said that their SmartDNS currently supports only America Netflix, Amazon Prime and Hulu

    • I'm using it with Japan, Hong Kong, India Netflix, no problem at all

  • Those using it for Netflix, are you switching back and forth between AU and US on the same account? Any concerns about being black listed by Netflix?

Got my cashback tracked for 61.65AUD

  • Thanks for the post. Used cashrewards and will see if it pops up.

Just moved from PIA. Speeds are about 10% slower but has heaps more features and connects much faster. Netflix US works too.

  • My out of pocket was $9. Not working well for me on fire TV. Most apps pick it up and show message that I am using a VPN :(

  • Hi, do I have to enter the coupon code "CASHREWBF" for cashrewards tracking to occur?

    • Not sure, but I changed it to that to be safe. Took about an hour and finally got an email that it had tracked my purchase.

    • Probably too late to be useful, but I missed entering the code, but cashrewards tracked it.

  • I actually found SurfShark to be really slow - am I the only one?

    • Testing last night I got

89Mbps for a local Perth server
      24Mbps for Las Vegas
      61Mbps for Seattle

First time I've used it, but that looked fine.

  • Anyone else get this and find that it won't work on anything except for their computer? I haven't been able to get it to work on my smart TV, phone or ipad… If I "connect" surfshark on these devices, I can no longer surf the net (it just gets stuck trying to search /load a page and errors out) and Netflix can't load much of the options and if you try to play something you can see and select, it knows you're using an unblocker/proxy thing right away :( So far, unimpressed. My very quick trial of Express VPN worked straight away on all of these devices with no need to tinker. I guess I know why there's such a price difference now…
