    That is really cheap..

Is this the new boombox? You can annoy everyone with your personal music.

On that note; I see kids getting around with a bluetooth speaker blaring out of their bag. Usually something I don't like :) Poor kids trying to find their style and get acknowledgement from their peers. Just as long as they keep off my lawn.

      Accurate

Apparently at a semi decent volume to the listener, it's only audible to others if if inside sai listener's personal space bubble

      • +4

Agreed. I tried one in a department store and I was impressed with the technology.

      • +1

This is true. At normal volume, it's almost inaudible to others near you.. Gotta try it out to really appreciate this device!

why do all old people sound the same haha

    • +1

I think it'd be pretty useful for watching tv / gaming at night without disturbing the whole household.

this is really good, i am using it for past 7-8 months. sound is amazing, battery is also good. i am tired of using earphones so this gave my ears alot of relief. i highly recommend it

    • +1

How loud does it sound for other people?

      • +4

it is actually loud to be inconvenient to others if you are in public you know . i recommend keeping it 40-60 vol just for ur self, people wont mind it(personal experience). i wear it everyday to work(baker) nobody even noticed it for couple of week unless they were in close proximity. quality wise very sturdy. SOUND QUALITY IS AMAZING(as expected from Bose). At 249 its sweet deals as i paid close to 450aud. since it from bose store, you can return it in 30days if you are not satisfied

Review of 4 personal wearable speakers compairi g bose, lg, sony and jbl

  • Can I use it on the train?

    • you can, but keep the vol 40 or less since your ear get most sound than people besides you. i use it while shopping, haven't had any trouble. But u will love it on high vol, bose=base.

    • +5

      No. Just No.

    • +9

I think you would be universally hated if you used this on a train in peak hour

      • +4

        *at any hour

Please don't use these in public. They CAN be heard by others.

  • I wen to watch the Youtube review that you linked but it's just over 40 minutes long,
that's an episode of The Bachelor without the adds!!

    • +13

      I'd rather watch the review

    • +5

40 mins to make sure a $250 investment is worth it seems worthwhile for most people.

  • Can you use while running on treadmill??

  • Thanks OP!!

  • +8

Oh god, what kind of knob would use this in public?

    • +1

If it turns around 180 degrees, could be a choking hazard.
      Careful out there.

  • Don't forget the 5% cashback from cashrewards and shopback.

  • +6

All it costs is $249 and a bit of dignity

  • I'm not sure I'd get the use out of it. I'd just use a portable speaker instead.

  • bought one. will try it out given they offer 30 days free trial.

    • Good idea

  • Cheers OP, picked up a pair to test, these were on clearance in the US for $150, good to see same price here . .

  • Thanks OP - got one too

  • Thanks OP. Just got one. Was just looking into these yesterday, and they've stopped stocking them in a lot of places.

  • Got one myself.
    =)
Along with Sony headset and samsung earbuds.

  • Far out!!! So tempted to buy them even though I've never tried just for the sale price. Man it's been a expensive week I should stay off ozbargain! Haha

Anyone tried the Bose Frames? How do they compare with these?

I'm thinking about the Soundwear for when I'm out cruising on my Onewheel or Electric skateboard as I've been tempted mounting a Bluetooth speaker to my onewheel.

  • I bought my Frames for $200 when I lost my Ray Bans which cost about the same. As sunnies they are really good especially as you can buy lighter lens for winter days or if you scratch the lens so…they are great sunnies. Bonus is that they play music, now the bass is weak and they get drowned out in noisy places BUT they are ideal for causal walking on the beach or when you are in an on/off situation out shopping on the high street etc and you want to hear your surroundings. They are great for phone conversations when out and about! They are never your main headphones but are perfect for occasions like above. I use them all the time.
