    Best gravy ever

    • Not wrong there….nothing compares to this liquid gold

      • Knott rich brown is far superior.

Man I wish this stuff came in small tubs. 2kg I’d have to start putting gravy on my breakfast cereal.

      Start!??

    • I think I have seen 1kg size from Costco Moorabbin. It was a couple of months ago.

    • Comes in 1kg tubs at Costco.

      • +1

When I said small I was kind of thinking 250gm, not 1kg 😅

  • +1

    1kg at Costco is $9

    • For those who don’t have Costco nearby this is still pretty solid. 1kg cheapest I’ve seen online is $17

    • I think it went up in price recently

  • Get a couple and bathe in that amount of gravy.

Odd. The frequently bought together is this, the barefoot investor and a Phillips hair trimmer.

      Sorry that was me

  • Seems the packaging leads the gravy to sometimes spill out during transit. Expected expiry would be July 2020

    • ?

    • Can firm 1 of my 2 had popped open. Gravy powder was everywhere! Contacted Amazon support and they are sending another. Will not order again. On the plus side I still get to keep the half the opened containers gravy

      • If amazon sorted it why wouldn’t you order it again?

        • It was a bitch to clean up

          • @testeagles: Ahhh. This is where the xiaomi Robovac is missing in your life…

  • Freeze thaw stable

Oh good, I love to freeze my gravy powder.

    • It's not freezer stable as a powder. That's after it's made lol

      • Are you a gravy expert?

        • A chef.

          • @Slippery Fish: Yeah but a consumer gravy expert?

Surely a chef doesn't serve this crap lol

            • @[Deactivated]: Lol, I've worked in A few places in my life and have used gravy powder, but your right not this scrap cos Maggie is shift. The demiglaze use to be ok but they changed it.

Also you would be amazed how many chefs just mix the fat/juice from the roast with water and this stuff. But at the end of the day I wouldn't restrict what I can cook with because of some romanticized notion you have about chefs. My job is to make food that looks and tastes good, if I'm working somewhere that's doing a $10 steak with sauces ect you will get scrap like this, if I'm working somewhere that charges $140 A meal I'd be cooking it all from scratch because your paying for the extra labor.

If we are talking gravy powder though knows rich brown is best imo that I have tasted.
