    I don't think the adaptor would work as well with the micro sd card,
    you can buy the sd version at the link below for $3 more

      Micro-sd adaptors don't cause any performance degradation. There's no electronics in the adaptor, it's just electrical contacts and wires.

    SD adaptors are readily available on EBay, usually for AU$1.
