Tokyo Mart in Northbridge Plaza is having their yearly 20% off Christmas sale! It's a small store but packed with a huge variety of Japanese groceries, many of which are not stocked in many other stores. 20% off puts things at a sweet price point for pretty much anything in the store. They unfortunately but understandably do not have a website or online shopping but savings are definitely to be had, including on things like sake in the paper bottles and thinly-sliced quality meat for Shabu Shabu. They even have a $2.50 section that gets 20% off too!

They are usually very busy during this sale and the store gets a bit crowded and you may need to queue for 10 minutes to pay, but the staff are doing their best and it's fairly easy to spend an hour in the store browsing everything.

Trolleys are not allowed into the store during this sale so people generally leave them just outside the store with some empty grocery bags, newspapers, etc. to identify their trolleys.

There is free parking!
