Gold is OOS. I see the post has been updated to the navy one. Black, red or white currently $69 at HN. I reckon the next one to discount should be the Crystal Titan 'cause that would suit my kitchen décor nicely.
Do people still use these? I thought they'd priced themselves out of the market.

you need to invest in a bigger gas bottle too, makes it much cheaper than the $20 refills of their bottles
As elcap says, invest in a bigger bottle of CO2, and it becomes much, much cheaper.
Also, do away with the Sodastream flavours, and use other flavours. I used to recommend the Cottee's flavours, but they reduced their strength from 9:1 (which fit perfectly into the Sodastream bottles), to 7:1.
Diet Rite still do 9:1 for diet flavours, and I think Coles have a home brand that mixes 9:1.
I just got back from re-filling my 6KG bottle of CO2. Cost $50. Will make around 600 Litres of Soda water, or around 700 Litres if you like it lightly fizzed.
I think I saw the sodastreams going for $69 in the Aldi catalogue.
