Looks like some price jacking has occurred. According to BoardGameOracle, Board Geeks was selling Gaia Project for $99.99 as recently as the 27/11, now it's been "reduced" to $122, from $160.

They had Azul for $47.99 on the 27/11, now it's $60, reduced from $70.

    • Would OP like to respond?

As a small business retailer in a saturated and competitive market, margins are incredibly thin. For a portion of our products, some level of "price jacking" does happen to ensure we're not heavily at a loss to keep in line with the store wide discount. Please understand 😔

    • While I understand your point I think people would be less disappointed/upset/ more understanding if you stayed out of the whole Black Friday hype rather than trying to be part of it by such means.

But I assume that there would be plenty of customers a) expecting black Friday deals and b) not being aware of the jacking and still happy.
And of course no one can expect you to miss out on the extra Black Friday business just because you cannot compete with the Amazons and Ebays of this world…

      Complicated story…
Everyone "hates" Amazon, Hardly Normal etc. and keeps talking about supporting small businesses and buying local but at the same time we all want the cheapest (OZ) bargain…..
