Stellar price - about $100 more than the all time low of $1198 (including the $300 EFTPOS card from this deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/426157)

With TRS refund, this goes down to $1,148.

This camera is fantastic in just about every way BUT it is large and heavy and that was a huge downside for me.

The tilty screen also doesn't fully tilt 90 degrees (but close) but I'm nitpicking here. The EVF is the best Ive ever used, and the eye AF appears to be much on point than the EM1 M2. Olympus stabilisation still appears to be better than the Panasonic's one. At this price, this is MUCH better value than the 3yo Em1 Mark2.

I've had the G9 but sold it off, and am currently using the EM1 M2. Happy to take comparison questions etc.

This is part of Black Friday / Cyber Monday deals for 2019

  • With the latest 2.0 firmware update, no reason at all to get a GH5! Picking one up today.

  • Got the EM1.2 and very happy with it. But if you're looking to make M43 jump from mid-tier to their flagship models then this is hard to go past.

E-M5 Miii (which is still pre-order) is actually down to $1614.15 at Digidirect: https://www.digidirect.com.au/cameras/olympus-e-m5-mark-iii-…

I somehow managed to snag it for $1614 at Digital Camera Warehouse with free shipping and free 64GB Sandisk Extreme Pro SD card, but then like 5 minutes later they removed the discount from the website.

    • I held one in my hand yesterday. They have it in store now, but its definitely cheap feeling plastic. It's light, but it's definitely plastic. :( my trust em5 M2 feels a whole lot more sturdy. =/

      • I'm one of those weirdos that actually prefer plastic because it's lighter, so it's actually an upside for me :)

EDIT: Made a post for the E-M5 in case anyone is in the same boat as me: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/500073

  • Killer value but man the screen isn't tilty, it's fully articulating, which is better!

    • sorry! i meant if you try to articulate it 90 degrees to get a flat lay shot - the screen does not fully articulate 90 degrees! at least thats what I noticed

    Cheaper here with code PITCH20

OR with Ebay Plus code PILGRIM

    • frustrating's panasonic's $200 rebate says "participating" outlets then proceeds NOT to list them out. So annoying. but videopro and teds are both major shops so cant imagine they're not participating retailers - this makes it… $1088?

Whirlpool forums already Confirmed a successful videopro redemption, can't imagine Ted's would fail given that
