Anyone have an idea of the cost per print with these?

if you buy this, around 76 cents each print

This is one of those things you do for the memories, cause the price is crazy per print, but it is a GREAT way to create memories at a significant event

70-80 cents. can get packs of 40 for $28.50 off eBay or 100 for $76 from Officeworks

Thanks. I am a performer and thinking of it as a keep sake for the clients. Could be worth a couple of prints per show even at that price.

From memory, it uses the Fuji Instax mini-films, which retail for about $1 to $1.50 per film if you don't look for a bargain. I've gone halvies and gotten bulk from eBay for about $0.72ish cents per film

The advantage of this is that you can select the photo you want to print, so you know its gonna be 'good' vs taking the old school way of taking a photo, shaking it and realise your thumb is in the way - which is actually is why I've still got the bulk of that film because I'm too scared of the kids wasting the shot!

Good price.. very tempted at this price, but I just keep on seeing it drop lower and lower…

      • Does it automatically apply that signature Instax look to the photos?

        • Sorry couldn't tell you - haven't got one myself! Just using an Instax camera

        • Yes. The “look” comes from the paper and the instax method of printing not the actual digital file.

@turkz1: I would say yes and no, you definitely get a different look out of the photographic print process vs an inkjet or something, but most of the classic Instax/Polaroid "look" comes from the lenses which you obviously don't have access to here.

            • @diamondd: Not sure I agree with this but appreciate your input. For reference I shoot with a Fuji X-T2 which produces pretty good digital files however a print on the sp-2 still produces that sort of fuzzy faded look that polaroid and instax are so well loved for. I’d say even if it’s not 100% the same it’d be 90%.

Imo great price great product that’s well worth it.

  • A couple of these at a wedding is nice memento

  • How many prints can I do ?

    • How much film can you buy?

          How did Epstein die?

  • Will this work with Fujifilm cameras (such as the X-T2)?

  • I got this for $99 last xmas for the mrs and can honestly say it's great. Having the ability to know exactly what you're printing is great and obviously reduces the wasted film from bad shots. This is a steal for $70

  • The price of shipping depends on where you are - coming up as $14.95 for shipping to Mid-North Coast

  • Thanks OP. Got one for click and collect.

Used to own the SP1 and loved it. Printing was done via a Fuji app which would also allow you to apply filters or adjust brightness to the photos prior to printing. Definitely more economical as I found when using the actual cameras I was wasting film taking bad photos.

I think of it like using an old film camera vs a digital camera.

Lucky i ran to office work and picked up the last one at lunch time today… Price matched HN $66 deal!

    • may I know how you persuade Officework to price match $66 deal if HN price is back at $99 today? Mind to share your receipt so that I can ask my local Officework for $66? Much thanks

      • Possible they price-matched prior to the price change.

Personally I didn’t bother with Officeworks as I couldn’t find it in stock at any Perth metro stores when I checked their website this morning.

    • Hello, would you be able to provide a photo of your receipt please? Thanks heaps.

  • Does anyone have a receipt they could post? Hopefully someone is happy to price match based on receipts.

    Thanks team!
