  • Limit of 1x6 single bottle redemption per person per day

So, only applicable on single bottles, not packs? Kind of a killer on the deal, considering a 6 pack is always cheaper than singles….

    • You can get 30% off as well if buying 6 pack.

      • +6

I'll take your word for it. And if I go to buy a 6pack and they knock me back, I'll let them know it was your fault! :P

          Hey "ryang",

I just called and confirmed that any six single bottles only applied to 30% discount and not a six pack. So you win. One shout for you.

        • +1

Hmm.. Well bravo for that, at least now I know not to bother with a 6pack! Good job!

    • +1

Most/Many premium ciders are only readily-available as singles. And many anything over 500ml is excluded with the common Safeway "20%/30% off any single" deal. Many of us will be stocking-up big time with this deal, thanks-a-million!

What sort of price would this make a 6 pack of magners/bulmers?? I love that stuff but its always so expensive

    • -2

ew bulmers, monteiths or 4 kings is where its at

      • Monteiths is good, 4 kings not so much. Bulmers is great taste much the same as Magners too me. prefer magners though simply because its the original and made in ireland.

WAY too many people still getting it wrong.

William Magner started it, Bulmers took over.
Both brands continued… at one point or another.

          Currently:
          Bulmers = Sold in Ireland
          Magners = Sold outside Ireland

          All Irish.

Same stuff, different bucket… ALL bureaucracy.

no offence jv. but that pipsqueak cider is the worst I've ever had… every bottle tasted off. and was unbelievably fizzy. I ended up pouring most of it down the sink.

        • no offence jv. but that pipsqueak cider is the worst I've ever had

          no offence taken…

i usually buy 5 seeds when it's on sale, but i prefer pipsqueak…

          haven't tried the others above…

        • Try 46+, don't know if 1st choice stock it yet but it's awesome cider from Sweden, has a candy like taste :)

        • yeah I normally just go 5 seeds because its the same/cheaper price than beer and tastes nice and refreshing

        • rekorderlig is where its at!

  • +3

Yay! Used the 50% off beer Four Square they had a while ago :)

  • +6

thanks. I'll have to get some more Rekorderlig :)

    • Shame it isn't 30% slabs :) I only buy slabs of Rekorderlig to get cheaper prices, although i did buy a few of the Winter Warmer - pretty nice, and a few of the berry - lolly water :)

    • when did everyone find out about rekorderlig? i swear just recently it got huge all of a sudden

      • I know I only grabbed a couple of bottles after seeing it on special…. And used the Canadian Club voucher to buy it! :D

      • I work at a liquor store and I came back from holidays in March and BANG I was selling it like crazy.

under this deal Magners would be no more than $4.89/pint bottle compared to $6.99 normal price (at worst based on Dan Murphy price match) and Bulmers $2.79/bottle compared to $3.99 normal price (again worst case price matching DM). I suspect that any specials on cider would be limited during the promo period.

  • hmm I once got pint bottle of Magners for $4 at Dans, must have been a weekly special. usually I thought they hover around $6 a pint bottle.

  • Beat me to it, good post.

  • might have to give this a try…..
do you just show them the foursquare app screen showing the deal is unlocked?

    • yep exactly

  • so whats the going price on single rekorderligs @ first choice atm?

    • i paid around $5.50 at a store in Bentley, WA the other day

  • sweet. hope the local one has winter warmer in stock :O
