Part of the Harvey Norman 'Amazing Deals'
Needed to upgrade from my G502 Core and believe it's a great price.
From what I can see the previous best price was $71.20 with eBay Plus.

I advise people to physically try out these mouse before purchasing.
From my experience the scroll wheel is very heavy and slippery, which gets annoying if you scroll a lot.
I switched to the 402 model, which is more lightweight and agile
I have this mouse and I love that you can switch between weighty free wheeling and precision clunks. I'm not sure about slippery, but most mice have a middle ground between the two extremes that this mouse gives you, so I could see some people not being into that. I like it personally.
I have the side-middle clicks bound to do a middle click. Been awesome for the past however many years I've been using mine
I almost never do a proper full middle click since I agree it's pretty damn heavy.
I have to admit the middle click is rather 'heavy' as in you have to use quite a bit of force to use and I generally have to map the middle mouse button to the side mouse buttons.
Free scrolling is good (has the button) that can be disengaged to spin the middle mouse wheel without resistance.
I have this and don't know what you mean by heavy and slippery.
There's a button you can press in/out on the top of the mouse which basically removes the resistance of the mouse wheel into something like a "free scroll" effect - is that what you're referring to?
More referring to the fact that Middle Clicking requires a lot of force to push down. It's fairly common for people to bind the left/right scroll clicks to do a Middle Click
Have you had any issues with your scroll wheel? After recently cleaning it out to fix un-registering middle clicks, it's suddenly requires a lot of force to click as you describe, however seemed much like any other mouse prior to this.
Is the 402 smaller than this one?
I'm looking to replace my old G9X - any thoughts on how this compares? I'd buy it sight unseen but for the $$ I'm willing to take the risk!
I bought this sight unseen from the Logitech store over a year ago and I'm happy with it. I'm always happy with their gaming mice, and even though every man and his dog makes a gaming mouse nowdays, and you could probably find something better for about the same price, I chose to stick with good old Logitech as I've been burnt by numerous other shitty gaming mice (including Razer).
I have the original older G502 and LOVEE it. The 502 range are my favourite mice of all time ergonomically.
From the original G502 and some of its iterations, this has been the perfect gaming mouse for me. Especially with my large hands, it's been a gift from the bargain gods! I love this series of mouse, it's such a joy to use. Especially when you need a macro clicker and learn that you just have to change the mouse mode from onboard to automatic game detection!
Pro Tip
After you're done modifying the profiles for sensitivity and action, be sure to "copy" the config to on-board memory.
Amazing for when you need to use your mouse on another operating system or computer.
Just to confirm I just picked one up from office Works and they priced matched no problems.
Great mouse. Had it for almost 4 years.
Great mouse and with the customised weights (which you can add) gives you additional control over precise mouse movements.
