Hi all. I just found an amazing price for the Logitech MK850 combo. It's the cheapest I've been able to find to date.
I got it for $79.80 from Officeworks with their price beat (before the price jack). EDIT: Officeworks have now dropped their price to match.
The keyboard/mouse can be connected to three devices at a time and have a USB receiver and Bluetooth connectivity.
It types like a slightly contoured membrane keyboard. I could not justify buying a wireless mechanical keyboard so I settled for this. The main reason I chose this combo was for the unifying receiver. I have had no dropout issues with the keyboard and mouse after ~1 month. I bought mine for $105, so this is a really good price.
If you're after Bluetooth this is a great option. I use mine in the office and have it paired to my phone and laptop, and swap if I need to reply to a quick sms. The functionality works really well.
The build materials were a let down for me. The palm rest on the keyboard has a soft rubber/plastic layer skin on top of foam. Feels like with continuous office use that it'll break after 2 or so years. The mouse has a rubberised skin on it also, which we all know peels pretty readily. I've had my old g9 mouse for 10+ years. Sure not getting the same life out of this.
