        I wonder if it'll be worth copping this and then trading it in for a PS5 if EB Games or another store ever offers a trade in program (hopefully they do). Holidays are approaching and I'd like to play Spiderman and God of War.

                        @nuttapillar: They're paying for an unlock code for an item in-game. The only way to get this item is to buy a PS4 Bundle that includes the code.

                        I can't tell you why they would pay $50 (or even $199). We all value money differently and to some, $50 is a small price to pay to look "cool" in their favorite game.

      Some people were able to get a launch deal at Big W with 3 games bundled that you could actually return straight away at full retail price and it therefore made the console only $348ish.. given it was back in Jan 2017 THAT was a deal..!!!

        This is bigw. In Australia. Who gives a hoot what offer is going on in the US. It has no bearing on whether which Switch model is sold here. You can't even buy old switch models at retail anymore.

          I upgraded to pro a while back on a non-4k TV for stable FPS, better visuals, longer draw distances and quicker load times with SSD's.
          The slim is definitely better value though, but its not always about value.
