How many bookshelf speakers does the world need?
These are awesome though….
Perfect for hooking up to a low power crap sound quality home assistant speaker, like a Google Home mini. There's no audio out for the home mini
Bluetooth!
They now support Bluetooth pairing to external audio. Better than line-out.
@Make it so: You had me until 'better than line out' :-)
after all if I just had a line out I wouldn't need to buy a 134 dollar set of speakers I don't need
How many cars? How many phones? How many TV's?
There are a lot of people
3 billion give or take…
Fantastic price for the black pair. Lowest I've seen.
Just got mine for about $145 a couple weeks ago!Do these have a headphone port?
They have a stereo Aux-Input (red and white coloured input). You can use that to plug into any devices headphone jack.
Ah ok, i'm more after the ability to plug my headphones into the speakers when i need to be quiet - all the logitech ones i have used have a heaphone port on their control module that sits under my monitor so it can be reached easily.
I paid around $170 a few months ago. Awesome pair of speakers, worth every penny.
I'm looking for something in this price range but passive for a sonos amp. Anyone got a recommendation?
ThanksHave a look at these Monitor Audio 100’s currently on-sale @ $274 for the pair.
Otherwise the passive version of the R1700BT the Edifier P17 @ $109.65 Delivered here.
Or an ozbargainer recommended favourite the Voll B50’s @ $129.95 Delivered
Are these better than logitech speakers?
Get these if you want to enjoy music or care about sound quality. Get logitech speakers if you want to blast games/videos at high volume or music for home party.
I have both. As the other poster says, the z623 are a little cheaper if you get them on sale (~$100) and have better bass, but muddier upper range. They also have headphone jack, which comes in handy when the missus wants some silence. Finding a place for the subwoofer is also a bother.
At lower volumes though, the clarity of the Edifiers is superior. And it has built-in bluetooth. But no headphone jack.Logitech speakers are only good for bouncing jelly beans.
Vibrator if you are brave enough
Just sit on the sub for your own personal sybian.
Anything that has similar sound quality but cheaper?
Head up to new buyers, these have minimal bass, the ones with the sub out probably would be a better choice and add a 8" sub.
Or the ones with the 5" bass driver might be better.
No power button is pretty annoying (its a long press on volume)
No from facing LED is annoying, you will forget to turn these off.Any recommendations for similar price point with more bass? Ideally one without an external subwoofer for space constraints.
Not sure mate, I am thinking about getting the S350DB, but its around $350 atm
This or the 1280DB?
I bought the 1280DB over these for a few reasons. The 1280DB are smaller and aren't angled. I also prefer the look of the wood grain finish on the 1280DB. I realise this is really just personal preference.. I just prefer the look of the 1280DB. I think the only other reason to get the 1280DB is optical input.
Cheaper here…

seems to be aussie seller too.
Edit: didn't see the postage price… nevermind
Is it possible to pair more than 2 speakers at a time via Bluetooth e.g. 4 speaker?
Back in stock, just ordered.
Good price for the Black colour.
