For a $1 extra, the aluminium one from ALDI is a no brainier.
I hate to be "that" guy, but the Bunnings one is cheaper, available now and they seem to have good returns/warranty policies.
Hi, just wanted to know, how much warranty does Bunnings provide? Thanks
Unfair neg, it's not a like for like comparison.
link please?
Stylish?
Looks pretty pedestrian to me.
For everyone saying go the Bunnings one, the big difference is frame metal. Bunnings is steel while these are aluminium. If you live in a coastal area, that is the difference between your legs rusting through in a few years.
Not saying Bunnings isn’t often better, but in this case find a comparable Aluminium one at Bunnings to match too.
Also it looks like the Aldi one has extra cushions on either side.
True the Aldi one is 14KG lighter than the bunnings one and has 2 more pillows so for $1 more it's a good deal!
That's cause it's aluminium, which is more durable for outdoors.
your legs rusting through in a few years.
If you moisturise regularly after showering, that shouldn’t be problem.
Bought similar one 2 years ago and it has already started to fall apart…not really worth the hassle, might aswell pay a little more and get a better quality
Bought from Aldi or Bunnings, or elsewhere?
It was from Aldi, it does get hit with a bit of sunlight in the mornings, maybe that had an impact.
Yeah the black fake plastic wicker is coming apart on ours. (ALDI)
Bought mine from Aldis two years ago as well. It’s still going strong. Still looks new.
Sun is a killer for these types of lounges, if it's going to see alot of sunshine, factor in a replacement in a few years.
Or a cover.
My experience is that people who have covers don't use the furniture, it ends up being too much of a hassle to take it off beforehand, and put it back on afterwards.
Enjoy it for summer and return to Aldi in 59 days. Stick it to the man.
I wonder how many years you could get away with this for!
Tried the bunnings version of this yesterday - it is pretty low to the ground, lower than you'd expect! I ended up buying a couch / 2 armchairs outdoor set.
The version at Bunnings is cheaper, known brand and can be bought now
