cool gadget though wouldnt mind trying out, how does the LED power itself though.
The water runs through a wheel or spinner which charges the LED, can't remember the correct name :S

One I saw had batteries and two contacts that were bridged by the presence of water.

I've had one (the battery type) and lasted for a while and was very happy with it's performance/glow etc but when it stopped working tried to replace the batteries and could not replace gasket etc to make it watertight again. At this price I would tend to buy more than one to keep when each one runs flat.

usually i dont like to compare ebay, but as there are an abundance of them availible at a buy it now price, i think its appropriate.

This LED faucet light up water flow when the tap is turned on.
I bought one of these a 3 or 4 years ago. Was good for novelty, but started playing up after maybe 6 or 8 months. Only the blue light came on, even if the water was hot. A few months later it stopped working altogether.
It was a bit of fun while it lasted. Looks fantastic in the dark. And I am sure I paid a lot more than this for it, maybe $20 from memory.
So good deal I say.
Looks a bit large, if it was nice and small, probably would have bought one.
