Lol at 2w x 2 speakers giving excellent sound quality…

False advertising in title . Not 1080p

    840*480 Native Resolution

I recently bought an 854x480 projector after reading glowing reviews of the Nebula (one I bought was not the Nebula but same native resolution). And while it was ok for shits and giggles, I decided to return it to get a full hd 1080p. The image quality difference was staggering.

But hey for $100, this would be fine for the kids to play cartoons on

    Display Resolution Maximum 1080p

What a load of BS. This is there to confuse people into thinking this device has 1080p output.

No way this is 3000 lumens
Unlikely it’s even 300 lumens brightness

If they don't mention about Ansi Lumen, it is useless

  • I bought a couple of 1920x1080 LED Projectors for around $200 each - same as this: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000125075972.html - cheapest I could find for the specs.. lumens rating is not true lumens of course but for evening cinema in a dark room they are good enough - better than my old NEC NP510G 1024x768 and almost the same price as a new lamp!

was gonna get one during the 11.11 aliexpress + shopback

but none of the code works .. LOL

is the resolution bump from 768p to 1080p , a big improvement on detail ?

Not huge but it is noticeable - a little clearer than the old projector but not by much - just missing the optical adjustment so unfortunately I'm having to use digital zoom which has an effect - I can't mount the projector close enough. There are 3 models of which I got the cheapest without android (specs all say android!) and using it with a Vodafone TV box. Being the cheapest around I'd assume it's not as good an image quality as some but it's good enough and bright enough for the evenings / lights out… Speaker is useless of course - and vodafone tv boxes won't connect to bluetooth soundbars from what I can tell (usual ozbargain Yamaha yas108!) so running it through wired studio speakers and a subwoofer I also use for recording.

would love the GP90 deal to comeback at $79

    • +3

I got a GP90 for ~$100 with the last deal

Good for the price and very quick for console gaming

The one to look at on Amazon if you need a cheap 720p projector at the moment would probably be the Bomaker but not sure about input lag etc.
