@Solosurf: In which case you use eBay Best Price Guarantee and they will match the Amazon price plus credit you 5% difference making it $140.60. They factor shipping price (or lack of in this case) so doesn't matter if you are eBay plus member or not.

I’m reading quite a few bad reviews mentioning poor step count which is the main basic function if you ask me. Anyway have experience with this model?
Works well for me, no issues at all. There’s a small bunch of very noisy unhappy customers on forums but Fitbit sell about 14 million units a year so of course there’ll be some defect units. As long as you can exchange it you’ll be right.
