    Read the reviews though…

Even at ten bux it seems like an expensive paper weight??

I agree with above. If you going to get a dashcam, get a proper one with at least 4K. They arent expensive.

You won't be able to see much detail with 720p which makes it pointless

All 4K does is burn through MicroSD's. Don't need any more than 720p to give plenty of detail (proper 720p, not something like this as it's probably interpolated to give 720p). Enough detail to make out numberplates and show who's at fault which is all that's needed.

    • Are you serious? No detail in 720p? For the purpose of dash cams, which is to capture which idiot did not follow the road rules, 720p is ample. What do you need 4k for, looking at the mole on the driver's face?

  • Got one thanks !

Using as rear view dash cam

    Can’t complain for $10

Just be aware that the video quality is shit.

    • Ouch, could hardly notice a difference after setting YouTube to play it at 144p. Interpolated crap…

    • Jesus christ thats bad. I could mount a potato to my dash and get better image quality

      • Interested. How much you want for it?

    This one is junk.

The KPT-900/920 is actually a great dashcam, and on clearance it was $49. It does have one major issue though and that is it doesn't record the first 5-10 minutes of a journey. When you first start the car it records everything, but if you go anywhere and leave it parked for a while, then come back, it will miss the first 5-10 mins. Might be something to do with the battery, not sure. I use mine as a rear cam so not too worried but it is annoying.
