I find that it's usually Australia post that's the issue.
yep mine said onboard for delivery at 7am this morning, but it didn't arrive today, but I still have luigis mansion to play through as well as death stranding.
My Luigi's mansion preorder was delivered 5 days late by Toll, Pokemons also getting delivered by them, so I can only hope I get it by Monday.
Not sure why they even use Toll, they have terrible ratings
I had an Amazon rep tell me it's Guaranteed Delivery for the 15th and will arrive on Monday. For my Luigi's mansion preorder they actually removed Expedited from my order and tried to claim it never had it in the first place, arrived 5 days late.
Contact customer chat and tell them it didn't arrive, they give you $10 credit when it's missed. You can just say you took time off work to receive the delivery to make it less awkward.
Already done but thanks, was a struggle to get that $10 though, I got $15 for Luigi because they tried to argue it never having Expedited until I found the email for the order

My Amazon guaranteed delivery (Pokemon and SW:FO)did not come today. Talk to CS and got $10 coupon for next purchase for inconvenience.
Annoying that my Amazon Pre-Order didn't come today and talking to chat they just kept going "It is definitely going to be delivered Monday" and had every excuse in the book to whatever I said.

Looks like we all had the same problem regarding Amazon.
The most annoying thing for me was that I ordered three switch games on Tuesday, one of which was Pokemon.
They sent the two that were released on Wednesday, and were delivered today, but they sent Pokemon on Thursday, and is arriving Monday.
I don't get why they didn't just sent it Wednesday to arrive Friday….. Pretty annoying.
But yeah, emailed them too and got the $10 coupon.
I was told there was a "stock issue" and they would only offer $5 coupon, so I cancelled order and will pick it up from JB tomorrow. Shame I missed release day, though…

I actually bought mine from EB Games…I'm a sucker for limited edition pre-order exclusion (in this case, the individual steelbook).
You do realize that you can price match? I buy all my games and stuff from them (at the cheapest that I can get, with price matching), unless of course they don't have what I want. I got my Pokemon for 62$ at EB Games, so I can get them tasty carrots.
That way I don't have to wait for the posti.
Can also price match at JB and don't have to support a company who charges a huge markup on used games and overprices all new releases.
They agreed to price-match Sword and Shield, but I would have to forfeit the Pre-Order Bonus (Steelbooks).
I price matched and they gave me the Steel book.

I would get it from JB. Amazon is a let down.
Even if it is Australia Post, it is upto Amazon to partner with a courier service that doesnt let its customers down.
They should evaluate the number of complaints they get on missed delivery dates and either ask Australia post to improve or find another delivery partner. That said it is easier to blame Australia Post when customers complain.
I got mine from Amazon today, Postie dropped it in the mailbox though. Didnt get any special delivery to the door stuff that normally happens with Amazon.

My Amazon delivery date also changed. Was going to be Friday, the showed Tues. Cancelled it and bought instore.
