Noticed Amazon have reduced their price to match Big W, pretty good price for the base plate, buying a second one as my kids can't share!
Combining with the $2 Cashback deal for an extra saving. :)

calling this a "piece of lego" is a stretch.
It meets the definition.
Granted its a large-ish piece (about A4 paper size?) - but its still a single piece of Lego.
Suggest you research a little as millions of single pieces are available in the market place .
Do you have any idea how much an injection mould machine to produce this one piece would cost????
How much is it usually? $15?
$12.99 RRP, but usually around the $10 mark from Kmart.
I bought these sort off Amazon recently to make a lego table for my son and I couldn't be happier with them. They fit with real lego just great. You can buy them with adhesive strips or without. You can get 6x 1 colour, plain, for about $19 iirc. Hell of a lot cheaper than real lego ones.
Edit: just checked and the price has gone up since I bought them and it's now about $26 for 6,but still cheaper than real lego.
Yesssssssssssssssss
The road plates have come down in price too… $12 down from $15 RRP
