My friends and I recently noticed that KFC Wicked Wings seem to have become consistently less spicy than they used to be, almost bordering on bland.
So what do you guys think? My imagination, or a conspiracy to cater to the weak-willed?
I'm based in Metro VIC, if that makes any difference.
Ha maybe – I mainly only have it once or twice a month, but I do usually opt for the WW (best value!), so that might be the case still
have them with supercharged sauce, that stuff is amazing… I can't have kfc without that on everything
yeah I think I might have to do that – they charge extra for it, right? If we had hot and spicy permanently here, I'd be much happier!!

I have to agree with you. I don't have them frequently and they're a lot less spicy. Zinger Stacker is still spicy at least.

Making crunchy wicked wings at 5 o’clock in the afternoon isn’t possible when one is on their way home from work.
I thought to post the video link for anyone who wanted to make them at home seeing that the original recipe has changed. I don't think I mentioned anything about making them on the way home.

I am tracking the spicyness via a spreadsheet and graph. They've become so much less spicy ove the last little while I've had to cut back from 24 wicked wings to just 6 with my Zinger Combo and 10 nuggets for Second Lunch.

There are these capsicums that you can rub on then wings to get a bit more spiciness.
I think they're called Carolina Reapers.
