    Is it sweet? Tried the Leffe Blonde and was not a big fan, too sweet for my taste.

      Not as sweet as the blonde. All abbey beers tend to be slightly sweet.

    "In all reality this is the best offering from Leffe. The Aroma is one of the best I have had from any beer, a genuinely deep rich inviting dark fruit and banana going on.

    The head falls fairly quickly, which is a shame, but the taste is so good you really don't mind. This one has a plum taste, not too heavy, not remotely strong given its 8.2% guts.
    Aftertaste is still more ripe plum, it really is a characterful beverage, surprising from a mass market brewery like Abbaye de Leffe.

    I used to buy the multi variety pack from these guys, just stick with the rituel and this these days.

    A very tasty beverage indeed!

    Footnote: This is being reviewed after several big hitting Belgians, which definitely compliments the switch from tripel. Try this after a westmalle trappist.
