Looks like Edifier AU matched the eBay seller’s further reduced price from my previous deal to the last cent.
(After S3000Pro sold out, both seller’s restocked and reduced all prices further by $5-$6).

    Notes: The differences between the two are: The S3000Pro speakers connect wirelessly, the S2000 Pro requires a wire between the speakers. The S2000 Pro has a 5.5-inch woofer, while the S3000 Pro uses a 6.5-inch woofer. S2000 Pro has a built-in up-ward tilted angle, while the S3000 Pro faces straight (conventional design). And the S3000 Pro has a lot more power behind the driver.
    S3000 Pro also has a USB-input on-top of all the other inputs on the S2000 Pro.

    The rest is basically identical, both have Planar-diaphragm tweeters, Four DSP EQ modes on-top of the Tone Controls (treble / bass adjustment), XLR inputs, Apt-X Bluetooth codec, speaker-grills & remote control.

    Any reviews of these? Very tempted by the S3000 Pro, how would they stack up compared to say Q150s?

      It is difficult to directly compare powered speakers with passive speakers.
      With powered speakers, manufacturers are able to optimise & control internals (DAC / Amplifier) to provide a consistent final sound for the speaker to all their customers.
      With passive speakers there are many different external components which can affect the sound of the speakers, therefore customers get varying results in terms of the final sound.

    How do these compare to the S350db? I just purchased the S350db but would love to know if there is that sizeable upgrade I may exchange them.

      First of all S350DB is half the cost of S3000Pro.
      In my opinion the Pro-series are a big step up from the rest of the Edifier range.

      The S350DB will have larger amounts of bass with its stand-alone subwoofer, and the S3000Pro will have tighter bass of higher quality, and likely the rest of the frequency range will be of higher fidelity (mids, treble).

      I would recommend the S350DB if you are going to use for cinema / movies, or are a bass-head.
      S3000Pro if you are interested in detailed higher quality music recordings / masters / files (lossless) and critical listening.

    S3000 pro Reduced again now $596.24 delivered on ebay. I just bought at this price, can't wait to try them. Will update when they are delivered.
