There is a Dog :-$guys, as what i said on monday, it seems there is some delay with their third party company that processing this money order. she told me that my money order was sent on 12 aug, and i just got my registered mail yesterday. normal mail only take 3 business days to deliver, no idea why i took more than 3 working days to send my money order. but if the third party just sent the money order on monday, it will make sense i just got yesterday (thursday).
imagine if you just a single person that processing this thing and u got 200 emails a day. it will take time to check one by one.Maybe so, but you have to admit that this entire thing has been poorly devised. Never the less, considering spazmodik has received theirs, and I too am a NAB AMEX holder, I shall hold steady again for ANOTHER week.
I got my money order on Friday, I have a NAB Velocity Amex.
Although, it is very late now but I just want to let you all know that I got mine in the form of money order on the 12th of August. I cashed in on the spot but if I'm not mistaken we can have it transferred to our account (must appy it online). My Amex is from CBA. I hope those still waiting will get theirs soon

I've got a NAB Qantas Amex (it's the one that also has a visa/mastercard linked on the same account). I got the $25 coles express voucher without issue and also registered for this promo too.
Got a registered mail card in the post box on Friday so I'm guessing that this is the $50 money order. Not waiting on anything else to came registered plus the coles voucher was also sent registered.

I received my Aust Post Money Order today.
Troubles me still about the management of this entire thing. Also quite curious about the letter that accompanied the Money Order was dated "July 27, 2011", that's almost 4 weeks!
Any way, I will be more patient with the "Home Renovations $50 Rebate". If I haven't received that one 4 weeks post closure of that promotion then I will jump onto it.

Yes got a phone call from one of the Marketing managers on Wednesday 10th and was promised a call back the same day which I have not yet received.
Got a call on Thursday from the lady at the end of the email address you provided, with a promise for a call back on the same day with an ETA, but still no call fom her either.

i just bought $250 wish gift cards again from big W. lovely, 20% off for my grocery and my petrol.
average petrol price around $1.30, if i got discount 10 cent from woolworth, then the price will be $1.20 then pay using gift cards that 20% off, then the total cost for my petrol per littre will be 96 cents.
or for some people that only got 4cents discount, then 130-4-20% off = 100.8 cents, still cheap

I tried many numbers and spoke with many departments however I do feel as though that despite the several "marketing escalations" nothing was resolved via those means as nobody was able to give me any info of any kind. It just happened naturally in due course i believe. I would suggest leaving it till early next week then if nothing, refer to my posts on page 1 of this thread and try getting some where that way, at least they will create a Marketing Escalation.

I am very curious about people u guys who still not received your $50. I was wondering if u guys would have sign up this deal online but would it be due to the fact you guys waited for near the end of the promotion period (e.g 30june2011 last day) to make your $250 purchase at participating store. In that case it may have put in the system as the last lot to issue cashback

I got a freebie from AMEX a few years ago for doing nothing at all. I got a call one day from someone at AMEX thanking me for being a loyal customer and offered me 10,000 free points. They asked " Do you accept this offer ?". It's not hard to guess what my answer was.

This is my 10th year with AMEX and I'm a small spender. If I had used my AMEX issued AMEX card I don't think I'd be in this mess now.

i returned from holidays to a nice big surprise a money order for my big 4 amex issued cards and instant credit into my amex issued card account and a woolies gift card in the mail from amex for being a good long loyal customer. its only the wife that didnt get her money order , mind you her's is from one of the big 4 . hopefully after sending them an email it will come by snail mail. Well there goes their explanation that they processed a late batch of rebates around 12 August and that they should be received within 10 days. It has become clearly obvious that they have not processed every one's rebate and I wonder why?
I believe any of u guy still not get the rebate should be sit tight and patient. it just unlucky about all amex network is slow at some point. I guess might just focus on the next Home Reno deal…

Same deal to Calv… I just got an email reponse from [email protected] (after asking for an update earlier this week) saying that they were still having issues from 3rd party banks/issuers and that they were going over the request manually to see which ones were still outstanding! Mine was through ANZ.
So if you haven't received a money order or an email update - I suggest you politely ask about the cash backs status :P

Finally, yesterday after emailing them for the 3rd time, i got a response from the GMS marketing email.
They have advised that they will be sending my cheque off ASAP.In the email they said it was due to technical issues that they are trying to resolve.
Now my confidence with them is growing back. Should get it sometime next week. (fingers crossed)

so ideally buy $250 in two different transaction with different registered amex card to get $50 x 2 credits!

Yes, got asked for my postal address on 29/8, then got another email on 7/9 asking me to re-supply my address again. I was advised the money orders will be sent out at the end of the week, and that I should get an email to confirm the mail date.
You are a darn sight closer than me, havent asked for my addy yet, even though they should have everyones on file when we signed up!

it should not matter they should have you on file. You can always edit a screen shot from some else and type in your details as a last resort. I would just email them. i just sent them another email on the wives behalf asking for the tracking no. and shipping status since they promised to send out the money order over 3 weeks ago but it still hasn't arrived.

just went to post office this morning to pick up my registered mail, open it straight away and cash in directly.
on the envelope, i saw this mail was posted on 17 aug 2011 and try to deliver to my place on 18 aug. so i believe this third party in sydney, i guess there is misinformation that the amex got from their third party that organized this money order. i guess the request was sent to post office to produce my money order on 12 then they just finished printing on 16 aug and posted on 17 and deliver to my place on 18
so guys, just another reminder pls be patient, what you can do is send email just to confirm that your money order is on the way
