The regular version is the ER4SR, ER4XR has extended bass. However these Etymotic earphones are usually lacking in bass so I recommend getting the ER4XR.

Had a pair to. Even though they were a good pair of earphones you miss the bass with most music.
I got some years ago and can’t use any other headphones now. Excellent isolation.
I used to own a pair of Etymotic 4s. They sounded amazing, but were a little uncomfortable in my ear canals (they go in much further than a lot of other canalphones)
