Previous version was published by Warner Brothers. This contract is ending, so Supergiant Games are now switching to self publishing.
This coincides with their 10th anniversary celebaration, so the release of the self-published Bastion is free to download, with free IAP to unlock the full game (will increase to $4.99 USD - probably $7.99 AUD).
Note you must download the game, then go into settings to purchase the IAP (should show $0.00).

      For anyone else searching, if you search for one of their other games "Transistor", scroll down and look for the "More by Supergiant Games, LLC" section and it should be there. I can also confirm, the IAP shows up as $0.00.

        Plenty of people on limited data plans. Quick check, Voda is $35 for 1gb month to month or 5gb for $45. Optus sim only 12 month is 10gb month. Pretty standard for those who aren’t tech savvy or bargain hunters.

        I'm on Amaysim $10.80/month for unlimited calls and texts with 1.5GB data. Mainly travel between home/work/girlfriends place where I have my phone on the wifi at all 3 locations so rarely need to use the data for anything large.

    Great find. I really love this game. The soundtrack is top notch. Will be interesting to see how it plays on mobile. It really shines with a controller.

      Should be able to play offline, there are no online features in the game. I haven't played the iOS version though.

    I couldn't get into Bastion when I first tried on PC - just never clicked.

    The iPad version really drops the difficulty down, with auto-aim and firing, so it's very relaxed to play through by comparison - much more of an idle game, and works great in this regard.
