Hi all,

This deal won’t appeal to everyone but it did for me and let me explain.

Until tomorrow, EB have a promotion that if you trade your current Xbox X console and any 2 games (nba2k14 and titanfall $4ea) you can get this bundle for $99. Which includes Gears 5 Ultimate, Forza Horizon 4 and also the new Call of Duty. Fantastic value especially if you were considering getting COD and you get a brand new console with new warranty.

Now I went one better here as follows:

Gear 5 is on gamepass so I sold the code on Ebay for $70
Forza Horizon 4 also on gamepass sold this for $40
Gears 5 themed controller didn’t need this sold for $60
COD I already had it so also sold for $60

Add in a new console with a brand new warranty and it’s a win/win.

This is an unadvertised promotion and if interested you will need to ask for the Xbox X + 2 games promo trade deal.

        If anyone hasn't noticed, this comes with a vertical stand, worth $30-40. Vertical stand is not a part of regular Xbox One X.

    Morning all. Just thought I would share some info. I was second in line to get this deal done at forrest hill Vic. The eb staff was really helpful and sorted out the deal for both of us without issue. Just to confirm, for us anyway, the deal is for what is linked by the opener. No forza 4. That was supposedly for the standard xbox x… Not the gears edition.
    Was offered outer worlds or cod. Overwatch was also included.

    Hope that helps confirm this deal for some.

    Drove out to Warwick (think I got the last one sorry).

    If anyone was wondering they can't change any of the games to PS4.

    Was definitely worth the trip, I left the controller in my bag and was ready to take it out if they asked but they never did. Either the deal disregards the controller or the staff member made a mistake. Could be worth going about it the same way to keep yours as a second controller.

    Got The Outer Worlds as it has higher trade in value at CEX.

    Traded mine in Burwood NSW.I think one left in stock so better check before you go there. Also Ashfield store aware of this deal

    Confirmed the deal until the 7th of November or stock last.

    Gave them 2 copies of FIFA 15 🤪 no questions asked.

    Seems like the deal isn't for gears of war edition but is up to the individual store to agree to the trade.

    Just did the deal at EB Games on Chapel St. Got the Gears 5 limited edition with Modern Warfare and Overwatch. Also I’m apparently a tier 2 member and only had $59 to pay :) :)

    Thanks OP, got mine from Singleton NSW, worth the drive up from Newy. They had 3 left when I got mine this afternoon but no cod left.
    I'm switching my outer world for cod tomorrow at another eb (called them up and they were happy to)

    Not a bad way to update my aging xb1x on my birthday :)

    Just a heads up if u didn’t trade up today then they will only trade of for the standard Xbox one x they have been told not to trade for the gears bundle I was in a store to day and the got memo from head office so thenones who got it today like me well done

    Did anyone else notice the circular sticky seals on their console box cut and replaced with smaller ones?

      I only had the large ones on mine. But my box also wasn’t green (I got the gears box). Did the console appear untouched?

      Mine was too. I'm thinking that the box was reopened to insert the Gears codes. The original gears console box doesn't mention a game code, which explains the box cover too.

      I actually did notice this Unboxing mine.

      Just to clarify mine was in proper packaging with the slip over.

      It actually does detail the games on the side of the box without the slip.

      Though the description is underwhelming basically hiding on the side of the box with the contents. So the slip makes perfect sense.

      Though I'm not too sure why the boxes appear to be opened and resealed from the bottom I don't believe the internals got touched.

      It doesn't really make sense because the games are listed on the actual box but I still feel like they have opened them to drop in the code.

      Something happened before these left the factory for them to be opened.

      Hopefully this helps if anybody is worried. My gears code looks like it was just dropped into the box

    Just got one today from lismore, thanks Op traded two games I bought from eb games for $4 each came with gears of war ultimate,1 through 5, Call of duty,overwatch was in sealed gears of war box 99 changeover.
