  • how much is shipping?

    • It will vary according to location and shipping method of course, when I've used them I've found the charges to be reasonable.

Their system gives you an opportunity to calculate shipping costs during the checkout process.

      • then you should just add "PLUS Shipping" to the title…

        • Done. Just performed some dummy runs on the shipping costs via eParcel registered post, about $9 to Perth Metro, $18 to Bondi NSW.

  • I'd get one if i already didn't have the Boom and a Roku….

    • I have a Boom, for what it is the sound is incredible!

  • Vader you sound familiar?

    • The force Luke, use the force !!!

  • +1

    Ive got Sonos mwhahahaha

    • go on, rub it in moneybags… >:(

  • If only this could hook into the Amazon Cloud MP3 service, I would be all over it

    • have you checked whether there might be a squeezebox server plugin ???

  • +1

These things sold for around $400 not too long ago - great buy.

  • I recently sold my Squeezebox Duet. The stupid thing would constantly lose connection both with the server and with the remote. I would have to restart the server and duet remote constantly. More trouble than it was worth.

I now use a Buffalo LinkStation Pro Quad NAS and a simple iphone app called media:connect and its 100x more reliable than the squeezebox duet and it basically does the same thing.

  • I have a Squeezebox Duet and it works well. I found the loss of connection to the SqueezeBox server was (in my case) from my Router's DHCP service and the Duet Remote not agreeing with each other. Once I disable that and provided another more stable DHCP service (i.e. Local network Windows 2003 Server DNS) then the Duet worked great.

Although my first step was to set static IPs through all my Squeezebox devices (including the Duet) and that made the devices very stable.

  • sold out…..

  • Thank you, vader! i've been waiting for ages for such a deal on the Duet.
    You sir, rock!

    • You got one?
