I dont know why you guys dont just google some component prices.

    PCCG
    $279 Powercolor RX580 8Gb
    $139 Ryzen 3 3200G CPU
    $32 120Gb AData SSD
    $55 Kingston 8Gb DDR4 2400

I'm already at $505 and I still havent paid for the case psu mb build cost and shipping lol… in effect all this is free from Techfast.

Now personally I wouldnt use a 120gb or 2400 ram in any pc however this is the price you pay for effectively getting these components for "free". I'm sure most of you guys are fussy as me too.

I'm in Syd. and there's no way anyone is Syd. can do this PC for this price. Its worth it for me to buy this PC then use the parts I want and just get additional parts I would use and then sell the rest.

Hell I could THROW OUT the parts I dont like and still be ahead!

Granted I dont need a new PC as my current 16gb Xeon E3 from 2014 is still fine and I also have a 32gb Xeon E5 8 core as a remote server but geez… I could do with an RX580!

  • Do these come with a Win 10 licence? If not, how much do they cost?

    Thanks

    • No it doesn't, there's an 'Operating System Activation' option for an additional $169 (Windows 10 Home) if you purchase it via TechFast.

  • I'm quite keen on this deal, I haven't had a new gaming computer for 10 years. I've read the comments here and have some questions:

    1. Does this come with Windows? If not, what is the best/cheapest method of getting Windows? EDIT: Saw above, where would be the best place to get a cheap windows key?
    2. Anyone recommend a good monitor. Best bang for buck, doesn't need to be fancy.
    3. Recommended upgrades? 120gb seems small for HD, and is 8gb RAM enough?
    4. Any other advice regarding PC gaming these days?

    Thank you

      1. Read my reply to the comment posted above.
      2. Depends on what size, I personally wouldn't go any larger than a 27" monitor @ 1080p.
      3. I would suggest spending the additional for a 240GB NVMe SSD. 8GB RAM is the bare minimum for a 'gaming' PC, but again it depends on the games you intend on playing.
      4. Git gud?
      • Thanks for your advice

  • I'm wanting to get rid of my Xbox but know very little of computers. Will this machine play games like EA sports NBA 2019 and Moto GP 19 etc. I only play sports games.

Also, how 'future proof' is this machine? For those who understand this area, will this machine be able to play games for say next 5 years with the rate games are developing?

    Many thanks.

    • Sports titles should be fine on this at 1080P. Future proofing wise you will certainly need 16GB RAM, and more storage. I would say that 5 years is a long time in tech so it's very hard to speculate what will be required then, but you're getting a good few years out of this.

  • Anyone able to comment on the chances of this being able to run Cyberpunk 2077 when it comes out? I haven't PC gamed for years but looking to get back into it for that game. Had a quick google and the speculated minimum requirements seem below the offering in this post based on other rudimentary research, but I really don't know what I'm looking at. Any help appreciated.

    • For Cyberpunk 2077 as seen running on E3 Trailer. Upgrade to the following as listed.

      Processor : AMD Ryzen 7 3700X Processor
      Case : Thermaltake Versa H18
Graphics Card : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Super 8GB Graphics Card
      Motherboard : AMD B450M Motherboard
      Memory : 16GB DDR4 [3200MHz] (2 x 8GB)
      Solid State Drive : 480GB 2.5" SSD
Additional SSD Storage : No Additional SSD
Hard Disk Drive : No Hard Disk Drive
Power Supply : 750W 80+ Gold Power Supply
Operating System Activation : Microsoft Windows 10 Home Edition Activation
      Networking : On-Board Network Port
Processor Cooling : Stock CPU Fan
Keyboard & Mouse : No Keyboard & Mouse

  • Might pull the trigger on this one.

I just want something to stream content to my 4k 60hz TV and this sounds nice.
I have an xbox one x for games but I miss keyboard and mouse.

  • Still going to hold out for a pc deal till later in November. But now I’m thinking I will upgrade the PSU for safety and future proofing

  • Really tempted with all these deals but not sure which is better value over the next one. Which one has the better CPU and GPU bundle?

I am very green with computer specs but understand upgrading the RAM and HDD is a must.

Also confused with the no operating system and whether the motherboard needs a slight upgrade. Oh all the bundles need a WiFi adapter?

Really only looking at the $1k price range btw.

Hi there. No absolute need to upgrade the motherboard from A320 to B350 unless you're looking to get the 3200MHz RAM, in which case it is 100% required as A320 doesn't support that speed. But yeah 16GB RAM is highly recommended and get as much storage as your budget can allow. None of the motherboards have on board WiFi so an adapter would be needed if it won't be setup with a network cable from modem/router to the PC, to connect wirelessly.

The 3500X is superior to the 3200G, and in terms of GPUs it goes RX 580, 1660, 1660 Super, RX 5700, RX 5700 XT, RTX 2080, upwards in performance.

  • What's this like for Revit?

Is downloading/activating win 10 as simple as going here and paying $20 to get the activation key? https://www.g2deal.com/windows-10-professional-32-64-bit.htm…

    • Cheaper on ebay, should be less than $10.
