    Not sure if it really is but as far as I am concerned if I can buy it without a VPN and the price is even in AUS, it is fine to buy.

    I assumed so, but it looks like the devs imagined it would be banned so they just never submitted it for classification (at least according to Kotaku). I'm thinking this will still activate in Steam though? We just can't buy it directly from Steam? Maybe someone can weigh in on this.

      Well, I got a Hotline Miami 2 key which activated fine in Australia (no VPN used) even though it cannot be bought here.
      I assume there will be no issues with this either as Gamersgate although has no restriction for Australia listed.

    It's a fun game for about half an hour or so. I guess most mass shootings don't last that long.

    The art design is kinda cool.

    Just bought a key.

    It activated on my Australian steam account.

    Haven't tried installing yet not sure when I will get around to playing this game honestly so dead so busy so tired.

    But yeah it activated on my steam account like normal.

      I sympathise - same here. Still battling with myself to go to the gym now - not sure if I would not fall asleep on the treadmill. ;-)
