Whilst buying something from eBay via ShopBack, I noticed in the notes it says "As of 28th October 2019, Purchases made with Coupon / Voucher codes are not eligible for Cashback". I mainly purchase on eBay with the discount codes, so looks like no more ShopBack for me.
I read that CashRewards may be reinstating eBay, so hopefully they won't have that restriction. I will be clicking through with them instead of ShopBack.

Not sure why you are blaming SB, it's obviously eBay's decision.
100% this. Makes even more sense when you look at the sales eBay has these days. Where are those 10% off sitewides for eBay AU? Where is the 5% cashback they had in the old days?

Lol, entitled much? For a while now, ShopBack has been providing cashback on eBay, something that Cashrewards hasn't been able to do. You are unfairly taking your anger out on ShopBack. 1% on purchases which cannot be discounted by codes are still good. You are already committing to not use ShopBack based when there's no actual confirmation that Cashrewards will reinstate eBay.

There was a comment in another thread (which I cannot find) from TA that mentioned CashRewards would resume eBay. So I took that as a high chance.

Yeah, it pretty much nullifies any advantage when you can't use any coupon codes at all. on many items you can always get a minimum of 5% off anyway.
