  • is this better than the lightake one? doesnt look as pretty

  • my lightake one never worked… and too expensive to send it back for refund :(

  • My lightake one worked perfectly I flew it into a bowl of water and it still worked. Hit a pole a few weeks ago though and it still works, but its wobbly and slightly less responsive.

  • I bought a Lightake one about two months ago and it worked kinda well (indoors only) but lasted only about two days after one too many crashes…

  • My lightake one is tough as nuts. Its rotors have lots of chips on it, it's smashed into the ceiling many times, crashed into chairs and walls too. Still flies fairly stable. At one time it was 'circling', but I did some googling and found the issue and repaired it myself. I am responsible for starting a helicopter craze in the office.

  • Word of advice: cover the new flat-panel TV with a sheet or something before flying in the room. Those rotors can make surprisingly big gouges in the plastic panels.

    What is the half-channel?

  • Doesn't mention 'gyroscope' therefore will be harder to fly (not necessarily a negative, by gyros are best for beginners like me).

I reckon this http://www.tinydeal.com/3channel-usb-rechargeable-gyroscopes… is a better deal; cheaper and with gyros.

My lightake chopper is still going strong, despite many crashes (have replaced one side pod though). These things are great fun.
