Kogan 75W one is very similar price ($69 plus delivery - cheaper if you wait for free delivery), and does PD so can charge some laptops

    • Ankar is a pretty good brand Powerbank, what are the Kogan ones?

      • "willy000" The current latest ( releases from the last year or so ) Kogan Power Banks seem pretty decent, I have the 10000mAh/26800mAh both with USB C PD and myself as many others on here are pretty happy with them ( the older 20000mAh Kogan USB C PD 30 odd Watt had some quality issues ).

My slim and fairly light 10000mAh USB C PD model will even charge a small laptop I have all the way down to empty, a lot of larger power banks would shut down when their capacity drops below a certain amount, even some of the more expensive brands.

          Thanks

    • or the 2015 MacBook over three times.

      So should this.

      • +2

This isn't the PD model so won't charge most laptops.

    • I believe they have a 102w one for the same price.

      • +1

The 102W Kogan model was $79 + delivery ( Pre-Order and few weeks after ), now up to $139.99 + delivery, should drop again in future.

I don't know how I missed that. I'd be all over it for that price.

          • @lostn: Yeah, I was surprised to still see it for that price a week or so after Pre-Order status.

I was lucky to snap it up for that price with a Free Delivery Deal.

It was posted : https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/479470 might come up again in future.

Unless you really need more than 60W ( Max on the older 60W and now the new 75W model which might just be the same but new naming as all specs seem to be same ).

All specs of the three peower banks is same exept for the USB C PD Max in and out.

Did you get the Kogan 60W model ( pretty sure the Total Max out of this model is also 75W ), or the newer 75W named model, as they are beasts and seem pretty good so far.

            • +1

              @ozhunter68: I got the 60W model.

It does the job fine. But I'd pay the extra $10 for 102W.

I'm not sure who's product Ruslan rebadged but the price for what you're getting is good. A reputable brand like Cygnett would be twice the price.

              • +1

@lostn: Nice one. Pretty sure the older 60W is just renamed as the current 75W model. Remember the rep early on in a post commenting it was designed to be capable of higher output when maxing out the USB c And another port, but they were just being conservative with specs.

In one of the Kogan Power Bank posts another commenter on here actually knew and linked the company who makes these and also sells them. Looked pretty decent, but have not seen it sold in Australia. I forgot where I saw it, but if I find it and remember I'll send link to you in a message.

Our power goes off a fair bit here and I like using power banks for camping/travelling and maybe even some prepper tendencies lol, so have to admit I have the Cynett 20000mAh too from a super low Good Guys deal here, but it has some issues powering laptops depending on voltage and/or Wattage needs. I read about it here in a post, then when I got a Lenovo Chromebook S330 found the Cynett does not charge it, but the Kogan no problems, from 0-100% all good.

  • Any other Power Bank or cable deals OP?

  • Any other Ankar Power banks on sale? Looking for one 1/2 the size.

Any Anker powebank with PD? Cheers

    • Looks like Anker is a bit slow in the affordable bracket for USB C PD but if you must have Anker

      • Thanks but bit too much of price.

I thought so much but was meant for a bit of banter.

I have the Kogan 26800mAh USB C PD 60W version, now upgraded to this 72W model ( everything same just higher Watt output through USB C PD ) and really happy with it after reading a lot of positive comments and reviews. Currently a very affordable $69 + delivery.

Forgot the name and link of the maker/OEM but had a look at their site and looked pretty decent.

          • @ozhunter68: This is what I am thinking of getting next. The newish powerbank 102W PD from Kogan looks nice too but will have to wait for a deal. Cheers

  • This is too big to take on internation flights right? Max is 20000mAh…

  • That's expensive for no PD.
