Got an email this morning with a unique coupon code for 25% off at the PlayStation Store.

I imagine it's targeted at people who haven't bought anything for a while.

Excluded products:
PS+ Subscription products (these can be added to the cart but no discount will be applied)
PS Now Subscription products
PS Music/Spotify Subscription
Pre-order games
Pre-order video
Video rentals
Live events (such as Pay Per View sport)
Content purchased via in-game stores

  • I wish Xbox did the same …

Xbox has GamePass which would still be better than a permanent 25% off the Playstation Store.

      • I thought Sony had a similar service?

        • They throw 2 old games per month. I only played 2-3 free titles in the past 24 months or so as it's often something I already played.

Certainly not good as Xbox one.

        • Yes they do, PS NOW, but it's not available in Australia…

      • Well they needed to make the 1/10 of the console player base happy.

  • The code is locked to the username/account.
I tried using a friends code on the weekend and it wasn’t valid

I got ‘we’ve missed you’ but with no voucher. No doubt there’s some business rule in their marketing campaign that looks at days since last purchase or something.

I’d buy more from them were it cheaper than bricks and mortar stores.

  • I never get these emails.

  • Can you claim 28degrees price protection on the ps store?

    • Yep, do it all the time! Been getting more games at launch because of the price protection :D

  • Been looking for a deal on PS+ subscription. If they'd offer me this email, I'd pay for another year. Oh well, no money for them…yet. :)

  • Hmm, I should probably allow them to send me emails again.
Might be worth filtering away all the rubbish for the odd diamond in the rough.
