Looking to buy a Futon mattress

In need of a futon mattress (double size) and looking out for a good bargain. I need just the mattress and not the base. My location is Melbourne.

Any recommendations ?

Hi, by "futon" do you mean the real thing (Japanese) or the westernised futon? The difference is explained here:

There's a place in Box Hill that sells the mattress separately, we would have bought it 5-10 years ago now.
I have no idea what it cost but the mattress is still intact and capable of a decent sleep.
Google says Back to the Futon's in Box Hill but honestly I can't remember if that was the store (and the futon mattress isn't at my house to check if it says anywhere).

I guess that they might be worth a call?

Don't get a plain dunlop foam futon mattress…

OW! Less than six months later and the foam became so permanently compressed you can feel the bed base on your back!
